classmate可以指同年級但不同班的同學嗎?
請問classmate這個字一般都是指同班同學
但是如果不同班但是同一個年級，可以用classmate嗎？
因為class也有年級的意思ㄚ？
如果不行，同級生的英文又是什麼呢？

classmate一般只用來指同班同學.
同班但是同一個年級, 有一單字grademate可用,
但grademate用來指同年級同學並不普遍,
主要是因為grade有很多別的含意
不同班的同年級同學 :
a schoolmate of the same grade
a same-grade schoolmate

雖然有提到or class in a school of any level, 這是有些人把classmate與schoolmate通用
事實上還是以in the same classroom為主, 兩者當然有區別.
同級生有時因為選修某科目而在同一教室一起上課, 其意義還是classmate.
Classmate本來就是指同班與同年級的同學,至少在美國是如此.
